We love photographing weddings in Alliance Ohio because it is so close to home, and where i grew up. Joshua & Brooke’s beautiful wedding ceremony took place at St. Josephs Catholic Church in down town Alliance. Both the bride and groom was amazing , and so much fun to photograph. The bridal party was awesome and up for anything we asked of them.
The church was beautiful and a awesome place to take wedding photos. St. Josephs is a stunning church for weddings because of the amazing architecture and colors. After seeing the amazing light that filled the church we are hoping we are soon the photographers at another wedding here.
Soon it was time for the ceremony to start and the groom was patiently waiting for his bride at the end of the isle. When the doors opened and the bride and her dad made their grand entrance we heard the all to familiar murmurs from the crowd regarding how beautiful the bride and her dress was.
After the ceremony and the formal wedding pictures, the bridal party hopped on the limo bus and headed over to the Glamorgan Castle in Alliance Ohio for some more wedding pictures.
We had to get creative and use the Glamorgan Castle grounds differently then we normally would, because when we got there we got the reality that there were hundreds of people there taking photos because of the local prom. Ughhh We quickly found a spot where no one was utilizing for pictures and got busy having fun and getting some awesome bridal pictures for the couple.
We decided to head over to Mount Union College for a few more wedding photos only to find out there was a community sale going on there, with booths and tents every where! We wasn’t going to leave until we took the photos we were after, lol. We got the shots but had to spend quite a bit of time photo shopping people out of the back grounds.
Soon we headed to the reception in Salem Ohio to the Saxons Club. The place was packed with family and friends waiting to get to talk to the bride and groom. Even though it was hot out side (mid 90’s) , it didn’t slow down the party. The wedding decorations were stunning! The food from Jeff Walker Catering was amazing.
The bride and groom made a huge grand entrance when coming into the reception. Then all of the formal events went off with out a hitch throughout the nite putting another Salem Wedding into the books.
The couples “Dollar Dash” was probably the most fun and entertaining that i have seen. Both sides of the bridal party went all out to try and out do each other. Even seen one groomsmen trying to pull a fast one and get some of the ladies money. I am so glad they hired us to the wedding video also, because that was something that photos couldn’t capture it all and do it justice.
